Helmet laws are widespread overseas

Thinking of riding overseas? Australia passed the world's first motorcycle helmet law in 1961. Since then, many other popular vacation destinations have done the same, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The list includes: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Venezuela.
